SKYCITY PLATFORMS SET 1

Straight from May's Patreon comes this SkyCity Platforms Set 1. With this you can make all sorts of large landing pads for your ships, or walkway areas, and bridges too. I've kept them nice and wide to accommodate squads of troops better. There are so many combinations of ways to connect these things up it is impossible to show them all! You can make the platforms as high as you like, as everything is modular and the stairs work at the same frequency as the support sections. This set was quite an exciting challenge to make, and I think they could be useful for many different games, like Infinity, Stargrave and Star Wars Legion. You can even light up the platforms with micro LED string lights of the sort that can be found here. It is best to pop some black paint or electrician's tape on the tops of the cavities to prevent light bleed, you'll get the idea if do it. This set contains 27 parts and an OpenLOCK clip that connects all the parts together with a satisfying click. It uses the OpenLOCK system by printablescenery.com, like all my SkyCity Terrain, and the Arctic stuff too. There are going to be plenty of new expansions out on my Patreon, like this, and the whole set will build into something varied and huge when they come to my Gumroad store.
Each piece is sculpted with detail and precision, and will print without supports on an FDM printer. I haven't attempted to print these on a SLA printer, but it should be possible if they were hollowed and given drain holes in Chitubox or something similar. I have some great FDM settings with which to print this set that give excellent detail and quality, but at a greatly reduced time (24% faster than usual at that layer height):

Printing Temperature: 210.0 C  (I use Sun PLA+ and this is a good temperature for that, you might want to adjust it according to your PLA manufacturers recommended temperature)
